Police Blotter: Pedestrians Hit by Car in Church Lot

Two pedestrians, a 33-year-old woman and a 3-year-old boy, both from Chagrin Falls, were hit by a car at 9:03 a.m. Dec. 18 at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Mayfield Road. They were taken to Hillcrest Hospital for treatment and the incident is being investigated.
An accident was reported at 3:42 p.m. Dec. 13 on Mayfield Road. There were no injuries and one of the drivers, a 48-year-old man from East Claridon, was cited for failing to stop in an assured clear distance ahead.
A Hillcreek Lane woman called police at 8:51 p.m. Dec. 16 because her husband had not come home and she was unable to reach him by phone. Officers were sent to talk to the woman. Her husband returned home at 11:50 p.m.
