Police Blotter: Resident Claims Newspaper Damaged Garage Door

A Marsol Road resident called on May 20 and said her garage door was damaged by the Sunday newspaper being thrown at it and said the newspaper carrier should pay for repairs. Police said the damage was too extensive to have been done by a newspaper.
The manager of a Mayfield Road fast-food restaurant was having problems with a customer in the drive-through lane at 5:39 p.m. May 20. The man was demanding free food. Police told the man to take his complaint to the company's corporate headquarters and not to return to that location.
A woman suspected three men might be doing drugs in a car parked on Sunset Road at 5:23 p.m. May 20. The men consented to a search and nothing was found.
A man was caught stealing tires behind a Mayfield Road auto dealership at 2:26 p.m. May 20.
A Longridge Road woman called 911 at 12:49 p.m. May 20 because her dog was stuck under a bed with a cord around his neck and was being choked. An animal warden responded and said the dog was OK, it was just lying under the bed.
A caller said three juveniles appeared to be drinking and were rolling on the pavement at 10:35 a.m. May 20 at Genesee Avenue and Ridgebury Boulevard. Police were unable to find the juveniles.
A doctor's office on SOM Center Road called May 19 and said an employee was fired for stealing money over a period of time. At first a report was wanted, then the caller decided to discuss options with a lawyer before filing a report.
A Mayfield Road auto dealership called at 2:45 p.m. May 18 and said a man was stealing tires from behind the building. Police said there were no tires from the business in the man's truck and he was told not to return or face trespassing charges.
