Police Blotter: Resident Thought Rock Collectors were Suspicious

A County Line Road woman reported at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 6 that there were suspicious people by her residence. Two men came to her house and said they were geologists and they wanted access to a ravine to collect rock samples. She said no. Police checked the area, but couldn't find the men.
A Daisy's Wood resident reported having neighbor trouble at 10:23 a.m. Nov. 2. The problem was a fence the neighbor was installing. Police told the caller that it was a civil matter.
An accident was reported at 4:15 p.m. Oct. 31 on Mayfield Road near West Hill Drive. There were no injuries in the two-car crash. A 22-year-old Chagrin Falls woman was cited for failing to yield the right of way when turning at an intersection.
