Police Blotter: Safety Forces Rescue Man from a Ravine

An Echo Glen resident called police at 4:02 p.m. June 16 and said her husband fell down a ravine and couldn't get out. Police and fire personnel went to the scene and rescued the 75-year-old man, who was not injured.

An accident was reported at 1:56 p.m. June 14 on Chagrin River Road near Brigham Road. Police said there were no injuries and an 86-year-old Highland Heights man had driven off the road and hit a mailbox and guardrail. He was cited for failing to maintain reasonable control of his car.

A 911 caller at 12:47 p.m. June 19 reported a disturbance at a Sugarbush Lane residence. An 18-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence.
