Police Blotter: Scare Tactics Witnessed by Officer

An officer was watching at 11:59 p.m. Nov. 7 as two men pulled into a Wilson Mills Road parking lot with the car lights off, got out and peeked into the windows of a business. The men told the officer they were picking up a clerk who got off work at midnight and wanted to scare her. The officers told them to make better choices in the future.
A SOM Center Road resident told police at 2 p.m. Nov. 7 that someone drove into a sign and took off. The service department was notified about the sign.
A Village Trail resident came to the police station at 11:31 a.m. Nov. 7 to report that her former landscaper calls her names when he sees her around town.
A man wanted help at 10:54 a.m. Nov. 6 after he locked himself out of his Beta Drive office. The dispatcher called the property manager to help the man out.
