Police Blotter: Silver Dodge was One That Got Away

Information supplied by the Mayfield Heights Police Department.

A State Highway Patrol officer called at 11:01 p.m. Feb. 5 to report a reckless driver in a silver Dodge on Interstate 271. The car was gone when police arrived.

A caller at 9:51 p.m. Feb. 5 said a woman driver cut her off and flipped her off from the Interstate 271 to Hillcrest Hospital. The caller said the other driver also got in front of her and slammed on her brakes.

A Lander Road woman called at 2:24 p.m. Feb. 5 and said her prescription medication was stolen from a safe. She suspected a stepson who had been staying with her.

A caller at 2:03 p.m. Feb. 5 said two men were smoking marijuana at a bus stop at Golden Gate Boulevard and Mayfield Road. Police said a man admitted to smoking earlier, but was no longer in possession of an illegal substance.
