Police Blotter: Stray Golf Ball Finds Way Into House

A Castlehill Drive woman complained at 1:51 p.m. Nov. 4 that a neighbor hit golf balls into her backyard and one got inside her house.

A woman called at 2:51 p.m. Nov. 6 to report a suspicious man in the city park on Wilson Mills Road. She said the man was sitting in his van for two hours and then approached her to ask when the park closed. She said the man was missing teeth and had long hair. Police said the man was reading in his van.

Hypodermic needles were found on the side of the road at 10:12 a.m. Nov. 8 on Charles Place. Police said Richmond Heights had reported similar incidents at Richmond Heights Park.

Willoughby Hills police requested mutual aid at 1:38 p.m. Nov. 8 regarding a child with a toy stuck through his hand on Chardon Road.

A Kenbridge Drive woman locked herself and her daughter in a car at 8:48 p.m. Nov. 7 and told police that he husband has lost it and was threatening her. Police said the man left for the night. However, the garage door had been damaged and would not close.

Lyndhurst police reported getting a call at 5:58 p.m. Nov. 5 about 15 juveniles hanging out in a silver Chevy Equinox at Wilson Mills and Brainard roads. Police checked and said no laws were being violated.
