Police Blotter: Stray Golf Balls Landing in Franklin Boulevard Yard

A Franklin Boulevard man called police at 7:58 p.m. June 29 and said there were about half a dozen golf balls in his backyard and he had no idea where they came from. He was concerned that children might get injured while playing in the yard.

Three cars were entered on Blakley Drive, a resident reported at 7:22 a.m. June 29. Another Blakley resident called at 7:26 a.m. and said his car was gone through, but nothing was taken.

Skunks were living under a shed on Eastlawn Drive, a resident reported at 10:01 a.m. June 29. Police told the caller that it is the homeowner's responsibility to remove the animals.

A caller at 4:24 p.m. June 29 said two young girls were running a lemonade stand on Aberdeen Boulevard and a pickup was parked there for a while. The caller was concerned for the girls' safety. Police said the truck belonged to a group of construction workers who were buying lemonade.

Someone in a white van was scavenging through trash at 6:39 p.m. June 28 on Gloucester Drive.

A patron at a Bishop Road bar threatened other customers with a gun and threw chairs before walking out at 6:47 p.m. June 28. The bar manager didn't want to press charges and police told the man he was no longer welcome at the business.
