Police Blotter: Suspects 'Casing' Area Were City Employees Checking Sidewalks

Two men wearing yellow shirts appeared to be "casing" the area and pointing at houses on Lowell and Locklie drives, a caller reported at 1:14 p.m. Sept. 14. The suspects were city employees involved in sidewalk repairs.
A caller at 6:02 p.m. Sept. 14 said his stepdaughter's car was keyed by a man who refused to make restitution and an argument ensued. Officers went to the scene on Lander Road and the parties involved were separated.
A Wilson Mills Road man said at 9:02 a.m. Sept. 14 that someone cut wires on his car and his son's truck and that both had since been repaired.
An Esther Road woman called at noon Sept. 14 and said that two foxes attacked an animal in her yard and the animal was screaming.
A Highland Road resident called at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 14 and said an unknown man came to his house and his dog bit the man in the face.
