Police Blotter: Woman Asks Police to Tell Ex to Knock it Off

A Mayfield Road woman called at 3:14 p.m. Oct. 2 and said her ex-boyfriend was trying to get back together with her and constantly calling and knocking at her door. She told police that she wanted all communication with him to stop.
A landlord wanted police to pay extra attention to his Orchard Heights property on Oct. 5 after he evicted his renters. He changed the locks, but thought they might try to get back inside the house.
A caller at 5:43 p.m. Oct. 5 said her daughter ran away from home and was seen at CVS on SOM Center Road. Police checked the area, but did not see the girl. The woman called back at 6:46 p.m. and said her daughter was at home.
A man said someone broke into his Chevrolet van on Oct. 5 on Mayfield Road and took a backpack that contained electronics and computers.
Wickliffe police said a truck headed southbound at 4:16 p.m. Oct. 3 was losing its load and dropping rocks. Mayfield police spotted the truck, but were unable to catch up to it.
A suspicious man in a long trenchcoat was walking about the lobby and talking to the walls at at 10:03 a.m. Oct. 3 at Hillcrest Hospital. Security was watching him and wanted police to be aware.
