Police Blotter: Woman Lost on SOM Center on Way to Little Italy

A woman came to the police station at 8 p.m. July 12 and said she got lost and was trying to get to Little Italy. Her cellphone died and she wanted to use a phone. She had called for a taxi an hour earlier and it arrived at 8:10 p.m.
A dog leaped from a car and was caught by Progressive security at 5:53 p.m. July 11. Its owner was trying to catch the animal, but left and security did not get contact information for her. The dog was placed in a kennel and returned to its owner at 7:09 p.m.
A Wilson Mills Road woman called at 9:10 p.m. July 11 and said she overheard a new neighbor boy with a pellet gun talking to his mother, who said "go get it." The woman said this was in reference to her two outdoor cats and was concerned they were going to shoot them. Police spoke to the suspects and they said they do not have any BB guns in the home.
A SOM Center Road convenience store called at 4:52 p.m. July 12 about a car that had been in the lot for a week. The car was registered in New York. Police advised the caller to check with a chiropractic office.
