Police Blotter: Woman Making Scene at Store Arrested for Warrant

A woman was causing a scene at 6:06 p.m. Dec. 19 at the customer service counter at on Golden Gate Boulevard. The woman was told never to return to the store. She was also arrested for a warrant from Bedford.

Police were told that a silver Jeep was speeding at 5:20 a.m. Dec. 22 on Interstate 271. The car was stopped and an officer talked to the driver about the complaint.

A gold sports utility vehicle was parked in the middle of the driveway at 12:30 a.m. Dec. 22 at a Maplewood Road apartment building. There were five persons in the SUV – three men and two women. Two of the men were arrested for warrants from Cleveland Heights.

A Temple Avenue woman called at 9:14 p.m. Dec. 20 and said she just got a new mutt that looked like Toto from The Wizard of Oz and the animal ran away as she was trying to chain it up.

A Golden Gate Boulevard man said he returned home at 6:24 p.m. Dec. 20 to find jewelry and cash missing.

A caller at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 20 said a Temple Avenue resident had at least four gas tanks and other equipment in his yard. Police said an inspector would be sent to see if there was a building code violation.
