Police Blotter: Woman Requests Officer, Then Gets in Accident

A woman called at 3:43 a.m. June 11 and said she was afraid to go to her SOM Center Road home because she was threatened at a bar and thought people might be waiting for her. An officer went to the scene to be present when she pulled into her garage. However, the woman hit a car in the lot and was cited for the accident.
The building department had a report that a car was on its side at 2:46 p.m. June 13 on an Interstate 271 ramp at Wilson Mills Road. Police checked and all ramps were OK.
A woman came to the station at 7:38 a.m. June 13 and said she hit a deer while driving on Wilson Mills Road.
A man came to the station at 12:24 p.m. June 12 to hand over some pills he found while walking that morning on Thornapple Drive.
Mayfield Heights police called at 6:09 a.m. June 12 because they received a noise complaint about the high school. Police told a disc jockey to turn down the volume.
An intoxicated man passed out in the lobby of a Beta Drive hotel at 10:32 p.m. June 11. He was taken to the hospital.
