Police Blotter: Woman Watched Truck Run Over Her Mailbox

A Hillside Lane resident reported damage to her mailbox at 6:06 p.m. July 11. She saw a black truck try and turn around and run over her mailbox. Value of the mailbox and post was set at $300.

A resident came to the police station to file a fraud report at 9:18 a.m. July 14. He said his wallet was stolen while shopping at the West Side Market on July 10. On July 3, his bank called and said someone tried to withdraw money from his account using a fake Ohio driver's license. Three withdrawals totaling $5,000 had already been made. Police are investigating the matter.
