Police Blotter: Women Tore Through Neighborhood in Bronco

A caller said a white Ford Bronco was driving fast through a housing development at 10:51 p.m. Jan. 21 at Wilson Mills and Lander roads. Police said the driver was a woman with dark hair and she was hitting mailboxes on Sturbridge. A lawn was turfed and a mailbox was damaged on Williamsburg. Damage was also reported on Lander Road. Police arrested two women, who were charged with criminal damaging.
A Gretna Green Drive resident reported coming home at 2:11 p.m. Jan. 22 to find that the house had been burglarized.
A service department worker found a car stuck at 8:42 a.m. Jan. 21 near the tennis courts in the city park. There were tracks from Blakely. Police said the driver appeared to be disoriented and might had been reported missing from Bedford Heights.
Mayfield Village police reported that a 911 caller at 5:17 p.m. Jan. 21 said someone was trying to get him to pull over and trying to run him off the road on Interstate 271 southbound. Highland Heights police also had another 911 caller about the same incident. Police stopped the suspect's Buick Century on Lander Road.
