Police Close Marsol Road Friday During Bomb Scare

Police were concerned that a man -- who was accused of threatening to kill his former girlfriend -- had explosives in his car

Mayfield Heights Police closed a stretch of Marsol Road from Fruitland to SOM Center Road Friday afternoon, because they were concerned that a car they stopped might have had explosives in it.

Police had arrested David Race as part of the investigation, The Plain Dealer reported.

Race had outstanding warrants issued for his arrest from Parma and was accused of threatening to kill his former girlfriend, her daughter and a police officer, according to The Plain Dealer.
