Pregnant Women Arrested For Stealing Clothes at Babies "R" Us

Two of the women had warrants out for their arrests from nearby departments

Mayfield Heights Police arrested a group of women accused of stealing merchandise from Toys "R" Us/Babies "R" Us earlier this month.

According to the police report, an employee called officers around 7 p.m. on April 7 after the women were seen stuffing goods into their bags and clothes. The caller said the women almost immediately split up after entering. Some of them were then seen stuffing infants clothes into their own belongings. Two of the women appeared to be pregnant.

The women exited shortly before the store closed, getting into a tan SUV only to exit in front of Micro Center a few stores away. Two of the women set out on foot near the intersection of Mayfield and SOM Center roads, where police apprehended them.
