Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday
Area police departments will collect medication from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The four Mayfield-Hillcrest Patch communities will be participating in Saturday's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, presented by the federal Drug Enforcement Association and Operation Medicine Cabinet.
Unwanted or expired prescription drugs can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at:
• Gates Mills Police Department, 1470 Chagrin River Rd.
• Highland Heights Police Department, 5827 Highland Rd.
• , 6154 Mayfield Rd.
• Mayfield Village Police Department, 620 SOM Center Rd.
Remove all prescription labels from bottles before taking them to the collection sites. Area police departments will give the drugs to the DEA for disposal.
