Progressive Nominated for Military Employment Award

Mayfield Village-based Progressive Insurance was nominated for a national award this week.

The insurance corporation was one of many ohio companies to earn the 2013 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award.

The award is the Department of Defense’s highest recognition for employers supporting employees serving in the Guard and Reserve.

Service members or family members acting on their behalf could nominate their employers for the honor.

The Freedom Award was instituted in 1996 by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) to recognize exceptional support from the employer community.
