Ray Sepeta Named to Mayfield City Schools Hall of Fame
Class of 1962 graduate will be inducted on Thursday

Ray Sepeta credits his accomplishments to the teachers and counselors in the who saw his potential and pushed him to succeed.
The 1962 graduate of and 1966 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, has spent his career teaching, coaching and advising students at Notre Dame, where he earned a doctorate degree in mathematics in 1975.
Sepeta said his work is rewarding and he's proud of the 99 percent success rate for his first-year students and that 95 percent of his students graduate after four years. In addition to advising students, he has taught courses in bioinformatics and computer programming.
Earlier in his career, he coached the Notre Dame wrestling team and won several coach of the year awards.
He may retire in the near future, but plans to continue to teach and to advise students to be the best they can be.
