Thibodeau Memorial Highway Dedicated on Wednesday

The unveiling of the Chief Warrant Officer Christopher R. Thibodeau Memorial Highway dedication will be at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Old School House, located on the corner of state Route 322 and Caves Road in Chesterland.

State Sen. Tim Grendell, R-18, sponsored Senate Bill 187 to name part of US 322 for Thibodeau, who died on May 26 while piloting an Apache helicopter on a combat mission in Afghanistan.

Thibodeau was a graduate of West Geauga High School. He served with the 1st Battalion, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade.

Gov. John Kasich signed SB 187 on July 27.
