US Bank Robbed at Gunpoint
Highland Heights Police and the Cleveland FBI are searching for two suspects in the robbery at the Wilson Mills Road location.
Highland Heights Police and the FBI are looking for two suspects from a gunpoint bank robbery that took place Wednesday morning.
According to a statement from the FBI, two Black males entered the U.S. Bank at 6135 Wilson Mills Road around 10 a.m. displaying guns. The statement did not reveal how much money was taken, and both agencies continue investigating the incident.
The two men, both likely to be in their 20s, escaped on foot this morning. The FBI describes one as light-skinned, 5-foot-10-inches, thin build, wearing a lime green jacket, dark pants and dark shoes, carrying a black backpack. He was wearing gloves and carried a silver and chrome plated revolver.
The second suspect is described as light skin black male, about 5-foot-9-inches, thin build, wearing a gray American Eagle hoodie sweatshirt with the hood up over a baseball, with dark black pants and carrying a gray backpack.Â
"Tips can be provided to Highland Heights Police Department or the Cleveland FBI.," the statement reads. "Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible for this robbery."The Cleveland FBI can be reached at 216-522-1400.
