Video: Hillcrest Rotary Club Speech Contest

Speaker Matt Grabowski of Gilmour Academy won first place and $150 in the Rotary Club of Hillcrest/Rotary Club of Hillcrest-Sunrise speech contest. Matt talked about hope. He will compete in the district finals for a chance at the $500 first prize.

Hillcrest Sunrise Rotary Club President Mike Johns Jr. said the contest has been held for 30 years.

"They must use the four-way test to address a moral issue in their speech," he said.

The four-way test is: Is it the truth?; Is it fair to all concerned?; Will it build goodwill and better friendships?; and Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
