Volunteers Needed to Drive Rescue Dogs

Every Dog Counts Rescue is looking for volunteers to transport a boxer dog and her seven 3-week-old puppies, which are being driven from Indianapolis to Buffalo on Sunday.

Routes include a 65-mile stretch from Columbus to Mansfield from 10:30-11:45 a.m., Mansfield to Cleveland (78 miles) from noon to 1:15 p.m., Cleveland to Ashtabula (60 miles) from 1:30-2:30 p.m. and Ashtabula to Erie (46 miles) from 2:45-3:45 p.m.

All dogs have health certificates and are up to date on shots. They will also travel with leash and collar or harness.
