Water Main Break Could Mean Discolored Water in Mayfield, Highland Heights

Water supply will not be affected, but the quality may be.

A water main break on Monday in Euclid will take several days to repair the 48-inch main on Glenridge Road, according to a report from cleveland.com.

The Cleveland Water Department told cleveland.com that there may be some discoloration in neighboring communities, including Mayfield, Mayfield Heights, Highland Heights, Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights and Beachwood. 

According to a prepared statement from the water department, there is no boil alert.

It's more likely that the water will be discolored. To report a problem with water quality or discoloration, call the water department's 24-hour dispatch center at 216-664-3060.
