Makeover scheduled for Mayfield Village Civic Center
The Mayfield Village Civic Center building, which formerly was home to a church, still has a main tower that looks like it belongs on a church. The village is spending $37,785 to rebuild the tower so it looks more stately.
Highland Heights Ranked 30th best small town
Highland Heights made the CNNMoney Best Places 2011 list of top small towns with populations between 8,500 and 50,000. The city rated highly for safety, income and job growth.
Deacon's rezoning now up to voters
Mayfield Village Council approved legislation to rezone land for Deacon's Chrysler Jeep, which has a planned $2.5 million expansion. The issue will be on the Nov. 8 general election ballot.
