Mayfield school district honors Irene Kay
Mayfield schools honored the memory of former longtime school board member Irene Kay by naming the board meeting room after her. Kay, who died in January, was on the board for 27 years and was active in many community organizations.
Additional parking sought for medical building
Dr. Daniel Cavolo, owner of Highland Medical Center, wants to add about 20 parking spaces at the Brainard Road site. Rezoning would be needed and requires voter approval.
Deacon's Chrysler Jeep plans expansion
James Deacon is planning a $2.5 million expansion of Deacon's Chrysler Jeep, including the addition of the Dodge and Ram product lines. However, the plan calls for using property zoned residential for car storage and would require voter approval of rezoning.
North Chagrin Reservation hosts family campout
