Whiz Kid: Emma Powers
School: Mayfield Middle School
Accomplishments: Named Mayfield City School District Student of the Month for March. Emma is a member of Student Council and collects cans for Harvest for Hunger and organizes activities to raise money for Providence House.
Key to Awesomeness: "Emma volunteers to serve others as if it's her mission," Superintendent Dr. Phillip Price said in reading a resolution honoring her at a recent school board meeting. "She is one of those students that cares about everyone around her."
