2 Men Indicted in Berea Gun Show Theft and Other Charges

Grand theft, weapons violations, trafficking, drug possession, are some of the charges the two are facing.

James Neil Underwood, 19, of Garfield Heights and Anthony Hamilton Lett, 39, of Cleveland worked together to steal a gun from a gun show in Berea, reports Cleveland.com.

According to court records, Lett distracted the gun show vendor while Underwood stole a 9mm pistol at a Berea gun show. Lett was wanted for rape and aggravated robbery when police arrested him for the gun show theft. Police also found heroin and crack cocaine on Lett after he was taken to the Berea jail.

Lett is facing a variety of charges including grand theft, weapons violations, trafficking, two counts of drug possession, and Underwood has been charged with grand theft. Arraignment for both men is scheduled for May 23rd.

Lett is currently in the Cuyahoga County jail and a warrant has been issued for Underwood.
