 reminds all city residents and political candidates that political signs are not permitted within the city of North Canton that are erected in violation of North Canton’s Zoning Ordinance, posted on private property without permission of the owner, placed in the right of way, posted in the portion of any lawn strips between the sidewalk and roadway or posted so as to be an obstruction to motorists.
Signs found in violation will be removed by City crews and taken to the North Canton Park Department located at 805 W. Maple St., where the candidate or owner may pick them up. Signs not picked up within 14 days will be disposed of by the city.
