
Domenica Betty (Santora) Meola, 84, of North Canton passed away Oct. 22 at Aultman Hospital.Â
Mrs. Meola, who was known to friends and family by her middle name of Betty, was born in Canton to the late John and Marie Santora on Dec. 27, 1926. She graduated from McKinley High School and worked until the early 1960s as an accounts payable supervisor at United Ceramic Tile Co. in Canton.
She met her husband, Joseph, in 1953 when she accompanied her sister to his family's home to purchase a pasta maker. They married in 1956 and recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.

In addition to her parents, sisters Virginia Pratt and Pauline Jones, and niece Linda Dovidio predeceased her.
She was an avid bingo player and was a regular at many charity bingo games. Some of her favorite venues through the years were Little Flower Church in Plain Township, Horace Mann School in Canton, and the Knights of Columbus in North Canton.

Calling hours are 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Rossi Funeral Home, 730 30th St. NW, Canton. A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at St. Anthony/All Saints Church, 1150 11th St. SE, Canton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Anthony/All Saints Church Building Fund.
