
The Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and SCORE hosted a recognition luncheon at The University Center at Kent State Stark Nov. 29. The event honored the owners of five small businesses that have been successfully launched in Stark County. Each of the businesses have received guidance from an SBDC counselor or SCORE volunteer.
SBDC and SCORE are state-funded, nonprofit organizations that provide one-on-one consultation and mentoring services to assist individuals in starting local businesses, as well as advice and professional guidance to help small business owners grow their investments.
