Kent State University at Stark Opens the Stark Realities Exhibit

Kent State University at Stark proudly opens the Stark Realities exhibit, showcasing artwork of various media. The exhibit, which is open to the public, will be displayed from February 1 – 29, 2012, in the Kent State Stark Main Hall Art Gallery, located in the lower level of the building at 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. The gallery is free and open for public viewing Monday - Friday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Stark Realities exhibit features works by the following local artists: Kevin Anderson, , Patrick Buckohr, Joseph Close, Frank Dale, Rick Huggett, Sherri Hornbrook, Ted Lawson, Nancy Stewart Matin, Stephen McNulty, Patricia Zinsmeister Parker and Michael Weiss. The community is invited a reception in the Main Hall Art Gallery to meet the artists on Thursday, Feb. 9 from 5 - 6:30 p.m.
