The and North Canton City Schools have once again teamed up for the NCVotes project.
NCVotes uses the Internet and the TV11 cable channel to present interviews with candidates for North Canton City Council, Mayor and Board of Education. In addition to the TV11 broadcasts, interested citizens will be able to watch and listen to a podcast of their ward, at-large, mayor or school board candidates on the NCCS TV11 or North Canton Chamber websites.
North Canton Chamber President Doug Lane is appreciative of the school district’s collaboration in supplementing the traditional channels of voter education, saying “the use of the web and TV11 allows a voter to research the candidates 24/7, on their own time schedule. We received many positive comments about the program in 2009 and are pleased to offer it again.”

Lane also complimented Hoover’s Tom Wilson and the TV11 crew for their professionalism and dedication to a quality product.
“Another plus in involving the video production students is the fact they personally interact with the candidates and are exposed to their views on the issues.” .
