Walsh University Honors Outstanding Alums for 2011 on Oct. 16

will host its Annual Outstanding Alumni Brunch at 12:30 p.m.  Oct. 16 in the Barrette Business and Community Center on the campus of Walsh University.  This year’s honorees will include Sondra Fronimo ’84 and Dr. Joseph Bauer ’94 as recipients of its 2011 Outstanding Achievement Award. 

In addition, Professor Ed Bendekgey will be honored as the recipient of Walsh’s Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award and John Latchic ‘69 will be named the recipient of Walsh’s Alumni Distinguished Service Award. 

The Outstanding Achievement Award is given each year to recognize outstanding achievement in a chosen field or profession, outstanding service to Walsh University, or outstanding community service.

The Alumni Distinguished Service Award was established in 1994 to recognize those who have provided exemplary service to Walsh’s alumni, participating in programming that fulfills our mission to maintain and strengthen relationships among the alumni and with the University.

The Outstanding Alumni Brunch will be held Sunday, October 16 at 12:30 pm in the Barrette Business and Community Center.
