Newspaper box stolen
A $500 Canton Repository newspaper box was stolen from the 1200 block of South Main Street between 6 p.m. July 3 and 4 a.m. July 5.

A Fuji camera, 40 CDs and a DVD copy of "The 9th Gate" were stolen from a home in the 100 block of Foster Avenue SE between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. July 4. Estimated loss is $775. The resident told police sometimes the door of her home doesn't lock, and police told her she should get a new one.
Woman runs after getting pulled over

A 32-year-old North Canton woman ran from police after she was pulled over at the intersection of Everhard Road SW and Ambler Avenue SW about 8:15 p.m. July 2. The woman had been driving under suspension. Police arrested her and she was charged with driving under suspension, obstructing official business and expired plates. She also had a warrant out for her arrest.
Men break into cars on South Main Street
A resident in the 1300 block of South Main Street told police two men were breaking into cars in the area at 3:25 a.m. June 24. Missing items included a $100 iPod and $15 cash.
Forced entry into home on Glenwood Street SW
Someone forced open the side door of a home in the 700 block of Glenwood Street SW between 7:10 p.m. and 9:55 p.m. July 4 and caused $350 in damages to the door frame. Nothing was stolen, according to the police report.
