Hoover High's Dom Iero Commits to University of Akron

Viking Dom Iero has recently signed on to play baseball for the Zips at the University of Akron.

The Canton Repository reported last week that Iero verbally committed to playing for Akron and head coach Rick Rembielak.

“I’ve got a good relationship with their coaches that formed over the summer,” Iero said in the Rep. “They have great facilities. I really like the direction they’re going in. I want to be a part of it.”
