Man Finds Home Trashed, Knives Stolen: Police Blotter

A man living in the 100 block of Roselane Street SW came home to find his apartment trashed and some valuables stolen this week. The man told someone stole his butcher knives and WWII knife, valued at $650.
Breaking and entering at Radio Shack
Someone stole a 7-inch portable TV, head phones, routers and several other items from Radio Shack, 1470 N. Main St., between 4:55 and 5:01 a.m. April 19. Estimated loss is $1,718.

Tools stolen from Whipple Avenue home
Someone stole a cordless sawzall and a Craftsman cordless drill from a car in the 5800 block of Whipple Avenue NW between 4:45 p.m. and 5:08 p.m. April 19. Estimated loss is $370.

Tattoo equipment missing from car on Orchard Hill Avenue
Tattoo equipment valued at $500 was stolen from a car in the 300 block of Orchard Hill Avenue between 6 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. April 19.
Riding mower stolen from Tractor Supply Co.
Someone stole a $1,000 Huskee riding mower from outside Tractor Supply Company, 5840 Whipple Ave. NW, about 3:10 a.m. April 10. The person cut through the cables securing the mower to the property.
