Mosquito Fogging Dates Set for August

Mosquito fogging in North Canton is underway.

The city began Monday evening and plans to continue with a few more dates throughout the month. See below for a full rundown of the mosquito fogging schedule.

• Aug. 7, all areas in the northeast section will be fogged, starting about 7:30 p.m. and lasting until midnight.

If Tuesday is rainy, or if there are high winds, the fogging will be rescheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 8 and Thursday, Aug. 9.

City wide-fogging dates are as follows:

• Aug. 13, all areas in the northeast section will be fogged, starting about 7:30 p.m. and lasting until midnight

• Aug. 14, all areas in the southeast section will be fogged, starting about 7:30 p.m. and lasting until midnight

• Aug. 15, all areas in the northwest section will be fogged, starting about 7:30 p.m. and lasting until midnight

• Aug. 16, all areas in the southwest section will be fogged, starting about 6:30 p.m. and lasting until midnight

If any of these scheduled days are rainy, or if there are high winds, the fogging will be rescheduled for the following week, Monday through Thursday. People with respiratory problems should take appropriate action. Beekeepers should take the necessary precautions to protect their hives.
