On the Agenda: Master Plan Update at City Council Meeting

Think it's been awhile since you've heard about North Canton's Master Plan?
The wants to make sure residents and city officials are keeping it at the forefront, so Chamber President Doug Lane plans to attend tonight's meeting (set for 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers) to give an update on where the plan stands.

- Council had tabledΒ Β when it met May 7. Councilman-at-Large Dan Griffith had requested the new legislation for council's consideration. Its language defines unsafe buildings that constitute a "public nuisance." Such buildings might be structurally defective, unsanitary or have inadequate maintenance because of continued vacancy.
That ordinance is up for discussion again tonight.
- Council also will discuss the West Maple Street Widening Project.
