Orchard Hill Elementary Gets Decked With Graffiti: Police Blotter

Someone spray-painted graffiti on several playground items and equipment, broke a light post and wrote on a table with marker. The crimes occurred between 3:30 p.m. May 18 and 9 a.m. May 21. Estimated damage is $700.
Thief almost gets away with XM radio
Someone tried to take an XM radio from a car parked in the 700 block of Circle Hill Road between 10 p.m. May 8 and 1 p.m. May 9. The person did not get away with the radio, but did take a power card and caused $20 in damages.

Items stolen from car on 7th Street NE
A Garmin GPS, 10 CDs and $5 cash was stolen from two cars in the 200 block of 7th Street NE between 7 p.m. April 29 and 7:55 a.m. April 30. Estimated loss is $355.

Car tire punctured on South Main Street
Someone stabbed a tire on a car in the 1300 block of South Main Street between 10 p.m. May 1 and 1 p.m. May 2. Estimated loss is $100.
'Food substance' sprayed on home
Someone sprayed a "food substance" on garage doors in the 300 block of Weber Avenue NE between 10 p.m. May 18 and 9 a.m. May 19.
Car roof dented in 100 block of East Maple Street
The roof of a car was dented in the 100 block of East Maple Street between 9 a.m. and 1:27 p.m. May 21. Estimated damage is $250.
Car egged in 500 block of Schneider Street SE
Someone threw an egg at a car in the 500 block of Schneider Street SE about noon May 18, causing $500 in damages to the car.
Unknown liquid damages home, yard
Someone threw three plastic water bottles filled with an unknown liquid at a home in the 1000 block of Edgewood St. SE about 9:10 p.m. May 18. The liquid left a stain on the front door and discolored the front lawn. Estimated damage is $100.
Beyesly's target of graffiti vandal
was tagged with graffiti between 6 p.m. May 12 and 6 a.m. May 14. Someone spray-painted the building and a box trailer, causing $1,225 in damages.
Laptop, Blackberry stolen from car on Donner Avenue
A laptop computer and Blackberry tablet were stolen from a car in the 200 block of Donner Avenue NW between 10 p.m. May 8 and 7:30 a.m. May 9. Estimated loss is $100.
