Pot Brownie Reported at Hoover High on 4/20: Police Blotter

Police responded to after being told one student gave another a brownie laced with marijuana during the school day on April 20. The student ate the brownie knowing that the marijuana was in it, according to the police report. The report did not list any suspect information.

Car damaged by rock-thrower on Everhard Road

Someone threw a rock at a car's windshield three to four times, breaking the windshield and denting the roof, between 11:30 p.m. May 4 and 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The car was sitting in the 100 block of Everhard Road.

Drunken man with shopping cart arrested outside Gabriel Bros.

A 30-year-old Canton man was arrested for theft and disorderly conduct by intoxication about 2 a.m. April 28, after police saw him pushing a shopping cart away from Gabriel Bros. in the 5900 block of Whipple Avenue. Inside the cart was a sign and fabric.

Breaking and entering at Viking Glass

Someone broke into , 815 E. Maple St., and emptied two cash drawers and scattered items all over the floor. A Mastercard also was stolen, and the thief attempted to use the card to withdraw money at five locations, with no success. The theft occurred between 1 p.m. April 21 and 7:30 a.m. April 23.

TVs, DVDs stolen from car on Wise Avenue SE

Two Sony flat-screen TVs, three DVDs and a cell phone charger totaling $320 were stolen from a car in the 100 block of Wise Avenue SE between 9 p.m. May 3 and 8 a.m. May 4.

Spray-painter doesn't like "No bikes allowed" rule

Someone spray-painted over Rule No. 5 on the sign of listed rules at the Dogwood Skate Park, 241 7th St. NE. Rule No. 5 is "No bikes allowed." The crime took place between midnight May 4 and 5:16 p.m. Sunday. Estimated damage is $60.
