Road Closed Saturday for Girls on the Run Event

A portion of East Maple Street in North Canton will be closed to all traffic June 1 for the annual Girls on the Run event. 

Traffic will not be able to drive on East Maple Street from Briar Avenue northeast to the Washington Square Plaza. Eastbury Avenue northeast and Marquardt Avenue northeast will also be closed from East Maple Street to 7th Street northeast. 

Closures begin at 7:45 p.m. and continue until about 8:30 a.m. 

"Motorists are to expect delays and are encouraged to find alternate ways to travel during that this time," according to a press release from the North Canton Police Department.
