A woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the North Canton YMCA Child Care Center is slated to stand trial May 7 in Stark County Common Pleas Court.
The trial for Caroline Y. Hawley, 59, of North Canton, was originally scheduled for today.
The formerΒ Β employee faces a third-degree felony charge of aggravated theft after being indictedΒ by a Stark County grand jury in January.

Β say Hawley's charge is connected to theΒ ,Β 200 Charlotte St. NW. They believe the theft occurred over a period of seven years,Β from January 2004 through November 2011.
If convicted, Hawley could be sentenced to up to five years in prison and ordered to pay a $10,000 fine.

Court officials say Hawley will appear again in court for a final pre-trial April 30 and then for the trial at 9 a.m. May 7 in the courtroom of Judge John Boggins.
