Copper Taken From Three Vacant Homes

Shaker Heights Police incidents April 18 to 22

The Shaker Heights Police Department supplied the following information. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

April 18, 5:06 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a fight at the Around the World Playground near the Shaker Heights Library. Upon arrival, they questioned two men walking away from the scene and found that one had a warrant out for his arrest. He was taken into custody, but neither pressed charges for the fight.

April 22, 12:08 p.m. — Police report that someone entered three vacant homes on the 18700 block of Van Aken Boulevard and stole copper piping.

April 22, 2:46 p.m. — A car was reported stolen from the lot at 2600 Kemper Road.
