“The College Event is perfect for parents wondering when to begin discussions with their teenager and how to offer appropriate guidance,” HB spokeswoman Kathleen Osborne said in a statement. “Some concerned parents of eigth graders need advice to gain a calmer perspective. Others wait until 11th grade and then regret that they missed the opportunity to be methodical and prepared.

"In both cases, these parents need a strategy.”
