Heights-Hillcrest Chamber Celebrating Small Businesses in March

Classes, expo offer resources for Cleveland Heights' small businesses.

The Heights-Hillcrest Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting classes, events and an expo to celebrate Shaker Heights small businesses in March.

"It really is smaller businesses, not only in Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights, but all over the country, that are really helping to keep our economy healthy," said Angie Pohlman, Executive Director of the Heights-Hillcrest Regional Chamber of Commerce.

She added, "Most of our hiring right now is as a result of small businesses, and we have to do whatever we can to help them."

The Chamber has partnered with the Council of Smaller Enterprises on the project, which incudes a breakfast tomorrow where small business owners will learn how to take advantage of trade shows — like the Chamber's trade show in April.

Two other breakfasts teach sales and finance principles, and an event at the Shaker LaunchHouse covers Google's free products that small business owners can use.
