Shaker Heights homes are selling for more in 2013 than they did in 2012, according to a report from the Plain Dealer.
The newspaper analyzed data from the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Office to see how home prices were faring in the county's suburbs.
Home prices are up year-over-year in most cities in the county, according to the report.
In Shaker Heights this year, there have been 298 home sales with an average price of $249,864. Last year, there were 215 home sales with an average price of $225,456, according to the newspaper's data.
That's an increase of nearly 11 percent.
