Horseshoe Lake Bridge Closed Until Further Notice
Barricades will soon be erected around the walkway to prevent the public from using the bridge.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH β The Horseshoe Lake walkway will be closed until further notice, the city of Shaker Heights announced.
The bridge is closed because it is currently a hazard to pedestrians and others, the city said in an email to residents. Enhanced barricades will soon be installed around the bridge to protect the public.
The Northeast Ohio Sewer District has recommended removing Horseshoe Lake dam and restoring the north and middle branches of Doan Brook. Before action is taken, public input on that recommendation is needed.
