Important Dates for Upcoming School Year at Hathaway Brown

Here are some key dates to remember as classes approach at Hathaway Brown

School is just around around the corner for area students. Here are a few important dates to remember about the early portion of the school year at in Shaker Heights:

  • Classes begin Wednesday Aug. 22 at the Upper School.
  • Middle School and Primary School classes begin on Thursday Aug. 23. Early childhood classes begin the following Monday, Aug. 27.
  • Curriculum Nights at the Middle, Upper and Primary schools will be held Sept. 6, 12 and 13, respectively.
  • School will be closed for Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur on Sept. 3, 17 and 26, respectively.
  • Hathaway Brown School will host a 2012 Education Innovation Summit on Friday Oct. 5. New York Times Pulitzer Prize-winning Columnist Thomas L. Friedman will be the keynote speaker. Click here to register.
